My name is Leticia aka Nena, and I am the creator and “hands” behind La Nena.
A California girl, born and raised in La Puente, currently in Virginia by way of the US Navy. In alot of my work you will see fabrics with cultural influences from my Xicana heritage, which deeply inspires me!
My Sewing Story began in high school. I was determined to alter and make my own clothes. As a Parachute Rigger (Aircrew Survival Equipmentman) in the United States Navy I have sewn and maintained equipment for some our nations finest pilots and aircrew. From fighter jet exhaust covers to baby clothing, I am always up for a new project in an effort to elevate myself in my craft.
